MEET ELLEN
Ellen Evans is a neighborhood leader, civil rights advocate, former union member, and mom who has spent her life fighting for her community. As an activist during the AIDS crisis, a board member of Equality California Institute during the fight for marriage equality, and a co-founder of her Neighborhood Association, Ellen has always led with compassion and conviction.

As President of her Neighborhood Association, Ellen has delivered real results — improving public safety, ensuring developers follow safety rules and regulations, and advocating for thousands of local residents. Now, Ellen is running for State Senate to bring her common-sense leadership to Sacramento, where she’ll work to strengthen emergency preparedness, tackle the housing crisis responsibly, and build an economy that works for working families and small business owners.
